Sharwan (July-August) It is a carnival-type of festival lasting eight days. Dancing, singing, comic performance and anything that cause mirth and laughter are its main feature. It is often an ironic presentation of the  characters  of our leaders. Those people whose family members have died  during the year send out person dressed up as a cow to parade the main thoroughtfares of the city on the first day of the festival.

The  gaijatra dance competition is  held on Prithivi Chowk  road with great exuberance in front of all the mass people with masterpiece attention at the stage. The following are the some  pictures that are the beauty of Pokhara.
